This is some gameplay from the Sega Saturn port of Virtua Cop 2. Virtua Cop 2 was created by Sega AM2, the famous studio responsible for some of Sega's best games. This port in particular shows how a talented development team could work around the difficult architecture of the Saturn and push its awesome capabilities. The models and animation are great, the framerate is smooth and there is no pop-in at all. This is even more impressive considering that this is from 1996. I've never played or even seen the Model 2 arcade cabinet, but Virtua Cop 2 on the Saturn is an excellent-looking game. In Virtua Cop 2, the player uses a light gun, in this case a Stunner, to shoot at Virtua criminals who deserve a Virtua death. In the course of the game, the player will likely kill hundreds of enemies, probably alone.
