**This is Battle Outrun for the Sega Master System. Played on original hardware. No emulation, no save states and no flash carts, no cheats.** I recently added Battle Outrun to my collection and it's a much better game than I was expecting. It's not good but a lot better than it should be. Surprisingly the mechanics of driving are pretty good. I really did feel like I was in control of the car. As I played I slowly started getting better and I realized the controls were not as random as it felt early on. On my first ever play through I was able to beat 6 of 9 stages. I was curious to see the end but I was getting a little bored after about an hour of playing. Had I endured I'm guessing I might have had it beat in another 30 minutes.
