This is a brief tour of Neverwinter, including parts of both the city proper and the Wharves (where I fight an orc and incompetently cast a sleep spell on myself). This game was one of the first graphical online RPGs; its lone server was capable of supporting several hundred simultaneous connections. Playable only through AOL, it was actually a pay-per-hour service for the greater portion of its existence. The graphics and combat mechanics were obviously heavily influenced by SSI's Gold Box D&D games.
