This is the last Boss in the Neo Contra PS2. You don't need to shoot the Boss, just avoid all the attacks. The Boss will die later on. Just remember the marking where you need to stand when the fire ball comes. The marking on the Left and the Right are different. I managed to finish the game with Total Rank S.
