It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an adolescent ninja who constantly searches for recognition and dreams to become the Hokage, the ninja in his village who is acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all. The series is based on a one-shot manga by Kishimoto that was published in the August 1997 issue of Akamaru Jump. 『NARUTO -ナルト-』（ナルト）は、岸本斉史による日本の漫画作品。またこれを原作とするアニメ、ゲームなどの作品。『週刊少年ジャンプ』（集英社）にて1999年43号から2014年50号まで連載された。全700話で、単行本は全72巻と外伝1巻。
