http://www.longplays.org Played By: Ironsharp A pretty fun 1998(JP)/2000(US) port of the first three US sets (Base, Jungle, Fossil, plus some neat GB-only cards) of the real-life Pokemon TCG. The game's premise is pretty similar to the normal Pokemon games in that you must collect 8 medals from each club (gym) to battle the Grand Masters (Elite Four) and inherit the "Legendary Pokemon Cards," GB-only versions of Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Dragonite with powerful random effects. Highlights include the great soundtrack and Ronald, (Legendary) king of the jerks. I tried to be as complete as I could in finishing the main scenario; I didn't attend the first Challenge Cup (between obtaining club medals 3 and 4) but It's identical to the second (no wacky extra Ronald deck) aside from the promo card prize which you can receive somewhere else anyway.
