They land on a pirate-infested island, and are taken prisoner by an evil human being named Vaas. The pirates take Jason and his friends hostage with the intentions of selling them on the black market as slaves. Jason breaks free from the pirate camp leaving his friends behind. Jason is rescued by a man named Dennis, who is part of the Rakyat tribe who suffers at the hands of the pirates. Jason and Dennis build a bond and try to work together to overcome many hardships and attempt to help free Jason's friends.
