Intro and first few mission from DragonStrike(DOS 1990). DragonStrike is a dragon combat simulator with a branching campaign based on the AD&D world of Dragonlance. After 20 years it's still the only game of it's kind in gaming history and an amazingly unique and challenging game to play. As the player advances through the game he controls increasingly powerful dragons(Bronze, White, Red etc) each with claw and teeth attacks and breath weapons ranging from lightning to chlorine gas. The player's character also has a lance that must be carefully aimed to achieve hits on enemy dragons, wyverns and draconians. Westwood Associates went on to create some of the most popular games in history, virtually creating the RTS genre with Dune 2(1992) and Command and Conquer(1995). Sadly 20 years on DragonStrike remains a forgotten Westwood gem begging for an update. I recommend playing with Dosbox using a joystick and view/speed keys mapped to your preference.
