One of the most difficult aspects of writing these pseudo-review video descriptions of mine is finding something original to say about games that have been talked about ad infinitum for nearly two decades. What can I say? This is Doom, the game that revolutionized the First-Person Shooter and spawned a series of attempts by other developers to recreate and expand upon its brilliant yet wonderfully simple foundation. Without Doom, the gaming landscape of today would be unrecognizable. For the two or three people in this world who haven't heard of Doom, the basic concept is this: Kill EVERYTHING.
