Footage from some of my hunts in Deer Hunter 2, developed by Sunstorm Interactive, published by WizardWorks Software in 1998. I do not have the add-ons for the game. I first played Deer Hunter (original) at a friends house, but really didn't like how limiting it was (only a few weapons, and you couldn't even walk around...) However many years ago in a shop, I was impressed reading on the back of the box, how much had changed (and the front of the box itself was very nice), as the game was quite cheap I bought it. I haven't played any of the newer games in the series, even though they seem to have some nice options (like planting your own crops, using vehicles, which unfortunately you couldn't do in Deer Hunter II, although apparently that started with the expansion). Although there isn't that many things to do in the game, Deer Hunter II did have a good selection of weapons and equipment.
