After practicing for days and days trying to get better at this, i've finally got a good run of Contra Force i'm quite proud of. I don't know if it would be good enough to submit to Speeddemosarchive but I think this speed run turned out really well personally. Stage 1 is probably my most practiced stage for the entire run, trying to get everything perfect and timed well, and I could've probably saved 1-2 seconds on the boss if not for jumping so much. Stage 2 is the shortest level in the run because you can skip over most of it by walking along the rails on the far side of each of the ships. I chose not to do it on the 2nd ship because it would take a few seconds to go back to the left side to get on the little boats. And only yesterday did I find that you can walk right past the machine gunners in the sub, and the boss here goes down easily if you can get him to stop in a good place. Stage 3 is hit and miss with jumps, I abuse the Pause Jump glitch a lot in this level to save time...
