Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online (ドラゴンクエストX 目覚めし五つの種族 オンライン Doragon Kuesuto Ten: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Onrain?, lit. "Dragon Quest X: Awakening of the Five Race Online") is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Square Enix for Wii, Wii U and Microsoft Windows, and is to date the only game in the series to not be released outside of Japan.[3][4][5] It is the tenth installment in the acclaimed Dragon Quest series, and was called "the highest profile third-party release ever announced for Wii" by Nintendo Power.[6] Smartphone and tablet versions of the game were released on NTT DoCoMo's dGame service on December 16, 2013.[2]
Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) is a first-person puzzle game that challenges players to navigate each level by manipulating coloured cubes that surround them. There’s little to go on as the game begins – the player is dropped into an all-white room with few instructions, and simply has to figure their way out. The tone of game changes as the player finds small and big alterations to their environment, supported by an original score, inviting each player to let their imagination take over as to where they might be. Through experimentation and discovery, players will progress through an ever-evolving series of cube puzzles that will challenge them with logic, physics, platforming.
Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut is the definitive version of the brain-twisting first-person puzzler. Using special high-tech gloves to manipulate cubes in the environment, the player solves an array of conundrums – from physics-based challenges; to 3D jigsaws; to platform-based trials. This time the mind bending gameplay will be accompanied by a completely new story by award-winning writer Rob Yescombe with voice acting from the likes of Rachel Robinson (Fang in Final Fantasy XIII) and Rupert Evans (As seen in Ridley Scott’s TV drama, World Without End). The game also has an all-new original soundtrack and a special time trial mode with 10 levels, called Against the Qlock.
