This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the various consoles I own. Deus Ex: Invisible War is a somewhat controversial sequel to the original Deus Ex. In an attempt to make Deus Ex more accessible, Ion Storm cut many of the gameplay elements, or "dumbed up" many of the elements that made the original so great. They took a lot of them and combined them which took a lot of the depth out of the gameplay that was in the original. When compared to the original, it's not as good, but in it's defense, not many game are as good as the original Deus Ex. It's a true classic, and one of my favorite games of all time. I loved it so much that Invisible War was one of my main reasons for getting an Xbox (my PC at the time had no chance of running it). If you can accept the fact that IW doesn't hold up to the extremely high standards set by the original, then you can take it for what it is, and what it is is an extremely good game in it's own rig...
