You still need Agi for stat boost but try to delay their turns to not let Counter buff expires (don't give AGI/DEX cards, use Bash in LK's turn). Vit also is good secondary stat for it and use best armor. kinda expensive with armors and Items (I let Gaston sit there). But yeah unless you want to level up in grind/hard way, I just choose to build LK directly from Gaston/Yuri, once they join permanent simply build EXP for them and spend skill points for them.
