It begins with a Human assault on Stroggos, the home planet of the Strogg. In this game the player takes control of Corporal Matthew Kane, a survivor from a Strogg attack on a space station. During the game the player will encounter many enemys including the Makron, and Kane's old squad leader Lieutenent Voss, who becomes Stroggified, but before so, Matthew Kane becomes "Stroggified". The main mission of the game is to destroy Nexus, which is the main Strogg communication center. Your main objective in Quake 4 is to destroy the Nexus and the Makron along with it.
