http://www.longplays.org Played by: Connor Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction (ToD) is primarily a shooter with some elements of platforming. It was developed by Insomniac Games and released in 2007. ToD is the first part of the "Future" trilogy in the R&C franchise, with all three parts released on the PS3. The core gameplay is lots and lots of weapons in various levels of ridiculousness. Anything from the Combuster (somewhat normal pistol) to Plasma Beasts is used to kick Cragmite and Drophyd butt. The gameplay is also changed up slightly at times by flying (and shooting) with a spaceship, solving puzzles with the Decryptor and racing with the Gyro-cycle. This time, Ratchet is hunted by Emperor Tachyon, the last Cragmite in the universe. As usual, he gets help from his robotic companion Clank, and (sort of) Captain Quark.
