A beginning to end playthrough of Sierra On-line's 1991 PC graphic adventure game, Police Quest III: The Kindred. This game has been roasted pretty badly for it's driving sequences, uneven pacing, and bland writing. While it's not Sierra's best produced adventure game, it's pretty damned impressive given the time that it was released. Maybe it's the nostalgia talking since this was the first Police Quest game that I ever played, but despite the awful driving controls, this game stands well above PQ1 in my mind, and though the story is weaker, I found it generally more fun than PQ2. It blows away PQ4, even though that game was definitely entertaining in it's own right. Finally, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing, especially for FM coming off of a SB16, but it was done by Jan Hammer, the guy that wrote the Miami Vice theme. Does anything else really need to be said about that? :) Hope you enjoy the playthrough!. ___________________________ No cheats were used during the recording...
