The next playthrough set is on the way as I tackle the next Mega Man game in the Classic series, Mega Man 9. This Mega Man game marks several firsts when it came out. First and foremost, it was the first Classic series game to be made in a decade (came out in 2008 while the last game, Megaman & Bass, came out in 1998). It was the first Mega Man game made for all of the current generation consoles (PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii). It was also the first time in a LONG while that they used "retro-styled" 8-bit graphics similar to the NES. The intention and result was a feel that harkened back to the good old days of Mega Man games, or at the very least, Mega Man 2, in particular. Oh, there's also the fact that this game is the first in the Classic series (and the only one to date) to introduce a FEMALE Robot Master. Who would have thought?
