This is a playthrough of the Kirby Star Allies demo for Nintendo Switch. I saw the demo for this'd gone up and figured I'd give it a shot. The allies mechanic is a cool concept and seems like it'll help keep the pace going during more difficult levels if you're taking your time, though it does become a bit visually overwhelming when everyone's launching their attacks at once (I lost myself on screen multiple times during the Dedede fight, for example). My biggest point of contention is the framerate. The gameplay runs at 30fps and feels really sluggish on the whole - which is honestly disappointing. I'm kinda on the fence about whether I'll pick this up.
