グラディウス Gradius © 1985 Konami This is part 1 of a full run of Gradius Arcade on the hardest difficulty. Machine Settings: Difficulty: Very Difficult Bonus: First bonus at 20000, then every 70000. Gradius, the game that spawned the best series of horizontal shooters ever. That's not to say they aren't perfect (see: Gradius V), or that there aren't other good series (R-Type), but Gradius is my personal favorite shooter series. Although, truth be told, there isn't much to this first one.....it's pretty minimalist and simple. Still, it layed the groundwork for everything to follow, Salamander, Parodius, Otomedius, and whatever wierdness Konami comes up with next =). This video covers... Stage 1: Volcano Stage 2: Stone Hedge Stage 3: Moai Stage 4: Inverted Volcano Big Core is always the boss. Pretty persistent one, but still a loser here lol. Now if only that tunnel in the first stage gave you 5000 points for going through.......
