This version clearly displays Harmonix's confidence in their ability to deliver a standout dance game experience, and what deserved confidence it is. While the first game showed that accurate detection could be achieved, and the second delved into multiplayer and the party experience, the third takes all the lessons the team has learned--what works, what doesn't, what fans want and don't--and presents a polished, wholly immersive gaming experience where the dancing still takes center stage (no pun intended) but the new features like mini-games, a smart Party Mode, an off-the-wall time-traveling story mode are major selling points in their own right.
